We’ve been digging on Bulkan Beat Box lately. Lots of energy and an interesting mash-up of sounds. Musicians Ori Kaplan (Gogol Bordello) and Tamir Muskat (Firewater, Big Lazy) teamed up in 2005 and assembled a range of musicians from Turkey, Israel, Spain and Morocco.

A good friend just passed along this fun remix of Orsen Well’s classic War of the Worlds audio along. Erwtenpeller doles out some vigilante DubStep justice and does a pretty thorough job of it. Weighing in at a heavy 61 minutes this is a good listen for a quiet night in.
