In previously posting about Renee Fernandez I realized I’ve never posted anything about The Decoder Ring on this Zine. That, my friends, is a travesty which will be remedied at this very moment. Aside from having a great name these guys have a concept driven body of work that covers a few of my favorite subjects: music, politics and having fun. We’ve been posting about quite a few Austin based creatives as of late and it’s making me think maybe there’s something in the water down south. Regardless, The Decoder Ring most certainly have what I’ll be from here on dubbing, “that Austin Aesthetic.” Great work and a great mission statement: “Do work we love for clients we admire.”
