Matthew Woodson of Ghostco was born in rural Southern Indiana. After graduating from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago in early 2006 with a focus in Natural History Illustration, Matthew was commissioned by Margeotes, Fertitta & Partners New York to illustrate the Perry Ellis Fall/Winter 2006 campaign, and has been working as a fulltime freelance illustrator ever since. Matthew still lives in Chicago in an apartment that resembles more a natural history museum than a living space. In his free time Matthew enjoys chain smoking, playing Prince covers on banjo, and falling asleep while reading.
