On a last minute whim I recently went to see the band Junip, a three piece from Gothenburg, Sweden, perform in SF. Being a fan of band member José González & his solo work, my instinct told me this would be a good show. José, on vocals and guitar, along with his band mates, provided the warm, heady, hypnotic atmosphere I hoped for. Check out their most recent album “Fields” & the song “Rope and Summit” – I cannot get this song out of my head.
