I came across the work of Firmorama on Flickr and about fell over. Really amazing stuff the likes of which I haven’t seen in a while. Firmorama is located in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil. Not exactly sure how big the studio is but they’ve got some great stuff. Check out there site.

Alexey Kurbatov is an illustrator working his magic from Moscow. A really unique style that has this historic eery feeling to it. All of his work is pretty interesting but the illustrations done within the last year seem to be taking the Alexey in a new direction. Sophisticated stuff.

Bastard Graphics is Julien Rivoire, a french Art Director and Graphic Designer since 2001 working in Lyon, France. I really loved his “escape” posters but beyond those he’s done alot of interesting work involving repetitive patterns.

Ryan Clark is a “designustrator” working out of Dayton Ohio. What can I say, I Love that midwest design aesthetic. During the day he spends his time at FORGE, an idea/design studio in downtown Dayton and by night it looks like he does personal projects. Keep an eye on this guy as his style develops.

Really enjoying the straightforward swiss stylings of Slovenian firm Studio Ee. They’ve done some great editorial and book design and look to have a mastery of the grid and using type. I love the minimalism of it all and the no frills approach.

I’ve been getting off on this type of collage lately and Andre Meca does not disappoint. Meca is a designer from Portugal who apparently needs a job. Seems to have a good sense of composition and their some interesting stuff in his portfolio. Check it out.
